Who I am

This is the personal portfolio of Faisal Mukhtar, based in Mumbai, India. For anything about your personal information, email work@faisalmukhtar.com.

What information is collected

• When you contact me. If you email, call or message me on LinkedIn, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
• When you visit. Like almost every website, the hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are used to keep the site secure and working.
• Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google's use of this data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

The site does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels or social media trackers.

How I use it

Only to reply to you and to follow up on the opportunity or question you raised. I do not sell, rent or share your details for marketing, and I do not add you to mailing lists.

How long I keep it

Emails and messages are kept for as long as they are useful for our conversation, and deleted on request. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention settings.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent, and you can raise a grievance. Email work@faisalmukhtar.com and I will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
